Benin: the frequency of loan and financing agreements worries Democratic parliamentarians
Whether at the start of the week or last week, the subjects submitted to the appreciation of deputies in the National Assembly are exclusively the examination of loan and financing agreements. For the president of the Democratic parliamentary group, the honorable Nourénou Atchadé and his colleagues Joël Godonou and Djima Ogbon, the frequency with which the breakaway government goes to the financing market is worrying. “Some will say that we only lend to the rich. But you should know that the constraint is that you have to meet loan charges. Because if you had your fund, you would not use the loan,” warned the leader of the opposition parliamentarians. The Democratic deputies indicated that this way of acting by the executive does not bode well for a peaceful financial future for Benin. This is why they require the caution of the current authorities. Follow deputies Nourénou Atchadé, Joël Godonou, Djima Kolawolé Ogbon and Hélène Olossoumaï
